Dear reader,

2025 – the choice is ours! We are facing a challenging year that will be marked all over the world by change. And change can also bring farewells: We have decided to part ways with a friend of many years’ standing who has become increasingly alien to us over the last months (Hint: It’s a global social network with a letter for a name).

In this newsletter, you’ll find everything else that’s been on our minds in these early months of the new year and how we plan to ensure that science and research remain strong and resilient despite the many crises around the world!
